Today I am rewinding back to May & one of my first weddings of this years busy season. Claudia & Anita were such a joy to work with their bright sunflower wedding was full of vibrant blues, reds, oranges & yellows and they had so many personal touches to their special day which was at The Ferry House Inn on the Isle of Sheppey.Claudia & Anita adored the flowers we created for the Escape to Oz shoot a couple of years ago (which is still one of my favourites) so using this as inspiration & incorporating sunflowers which Claudia said were a flower ‘must’ we designed their scheme. We also go to work with some of my favourite wedding peeps; Kerry Ann Duffy Photography & Bridal Beauty by Emma Smisson which was a real treat.

How swoon worthy are Claudia’s electric blue tassel shoes? Love! Claudia also opted to wear a flower crown, which of course we love! Something dainty not to big or blousy but would still pack a punch & compliment her vibrant bouquet. For her crown we used; forget me not, sweet pea, astilbe, ixia, chamomile & asclepias.

That first look on the wedding day such a special moment captured to treasure forever, the look of love in Claudia & Anita’s eyes is just bursting out of this photograph. Claudia’s stunning dress was custom made by  Frederica Bruno Couture

Claudia & Anita’s beautiful vegan cake was created by Vegan Victory Cakes with their personalised cake topper from Mme Hibou which were knitted minitures of Claudia & Anita holding their native flags, see, lots of gorgeous personal touches!
